Hello!
My name is Beba Schlottmann. I was born in Puerto Rico and have been a resident of Georgia for over twenty-six years. I have two amazingly creative sons, Matthew and Julian and an amazing extended family that keeps me moving forward, teaching me valuable lessons about the things that really matter in life.
I value leadership, and have gained extensive international experience in leadership training, administration, and missions work throughout my career. I have traveled to more than twenty-five countries and served as an interpreter (Spanish-English) as well as a project coordinator for several non-profit and for-profit organizations.
Prior to COVID, I co-founded Abante International, a non-profit organization whose mission was to prepare university students to LEARN, LIVE & LEAD in a global community. This organization was active for nine years, and throughout its duration, I was able to contribute my creative voice to newsletters, website, blog and social media content. I also managed global partnerships through community projects, mini-internships, and logistics.
I have learned that If I live a selfish life, I accomplish nothing worth talking, writing or reading about. However, if I live life in selfless abandon to the purposes of God, in return, He will take me beyond my own limitations so that I never have to look back on my life with regret. Creativity has allowed me an outlet to work through suffering while finding purpose in my journey.
My motto is:
“How you begin is not as important as how you finish. Chase Life!”
